All eight Caltech women’s water polo upperclassman scholar-athletes have been named All-Academic by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches.
Nominees must have compiled a minimum 3.2 cumulative grade-point average and have completed a full calendar year at their institution to be eligible for the award. Junior Devi Ganapathi (La Crescenta, Calif. / Crescenta Valley) led the team as the only Outstanding honoree, the highest category recognizing GPAs in the 3.7-4.0 range. Sophomore Brittany Percin (Lake Tahoe, Calif. / Stanford Online) and senior Sasha Zemsky (Mount Kisco, N.Y. / Horace Greeley) made the Superior list with GPAs between 3.41-3.70, while senior Mary Boyajian (Sun Valley, Calif. / Village Christian), juniors Cameron Earl (Mahomet, Ill. / Mahomet Seymour) and Hana Keller (Sammamish, Wash. / Tesla STEM) and sophomores Katie Johnston (Livermore, Calif. / Livermore) and Gemma Takahashi (San Jose, Calif. / Leland) were named Excellent.
